Collen did a silly thing today.

He assigned four people to corn harvest duty today. The corn field is too small for four harvesters, there’s not enough corn for four people!

I was stuck waiting for more corn to grow, two others beat me and the fourth worker to the punch. We eventually got them in on time though, so no worries!

Somehow… Kei and I jumped all the way to Eweca.

…I don’t know how in the world we jumped high enough to escape Erinn’s gravity pull, but we did.

THERE WERE MOON RABBITS. THEY WERE SO BIG AND CUTE! I WANT TO TAKE ONE HOME!!

I wonder how Chikaku and Jyan are doing. We really got to get back together and have lunch or something one of these days.

Turns out Chikaku totally loved the souvenir I got her the other day. I’ve never seen her so… happy. You could see the smile through her pitch black mask, that’s how big it was.

Later on in the week, Teranika, Hana’s Giant friend, wanted me to help her with training Windmill. I really didn’t feel up to it, mostly because I was pretty rusty (and hungry). We tried over at Osna Sail, but the number of monsters there was surprisingly sparse. Teranika couldn’t get a lot of training done. She then decided to go to Rundal Dungeon and get some training done there.

I got a message from her while she was inside saying she found a patch of herbs I’d be interested in. I decided to join her dungeon and see what she found. I saw a healthy amount of mana and golden herbs! I happily picked them as she went deeper inside. I felt kinda bad for not helping her on Windmill earlier, so I decided to follow her as soon as I finished gathering the herbs. I can use the dusting off, anyway.

Near the end of the dungeon, we found a Rundal Advanced pass. We thought it was a good idea at the time, so we saved it for the next day. I needed to prepare and gather supplies, anyway.

So, we go inside, and, well, it ended in defeat. We had a good run, but my lightning wand snapped and we ran out of first aid supplies. Not to mention, I made some pretty bad mistakes in there…

I have got quite a bit to dust off before I start doing something that difficult again.

With the new area over in Uladh discovered, Iria’s been very quiet.

I don’t know if I like that.

Kiyobi did send me a souvenir from Taillteann yesterday. A black and blue Elven Longbow. I was honestly really surprised. It looked so… awesome.

Kiyobi’s always taking care of me. I wonder why that is.

Well, I better keep training. And I might want to actually try out archery seriously now with this bow…

Well, I didn’t manage to get to break the stone. In fact, the stone was already broken when I arrived.

I was kind of disappointed, but on the other hand I wasn’t very surprised. There’s lots of very capable magicians like myself who could’ve broken the stone.

Well, time to tour around Taillteann!

It’s been a very long time since I heard about anything happening in Erinn…

I’ve been busy dealing with other things in my original world when I got word from a fellow Milletian about a new region that was just discovered.

Apparently, this clown-jester type named Pierrck(?) came around in Uladh and told everyone about this new town called Tailteann, the town of Alchemists.

Alchemy, huh? I’m pretty interested.

There’s this thing about Seal Stones though. My friend told me that Tailteann is still sealed off with these things. Turns out I’m actually capable of destroying one of them.

…along with like a million other Milletians. I’m not gonna just let it be though, this is a chance in a lifetime! Destroying a Seal Stone and having my name inscribed in Milletian history?! You bet I’m going to try!

…but if Tailteann is sealed off, how did Pierrck get past?

Oh man. I had no idea Mana could be manipulated in a way like this!

Okay, so I was in Cor, doing a little bit of recreational exploring, and I overhear something from a random Milletian about something called “Mana Shield”. Apparently, you can use the power of Mana to protect yourself from physical harm.

Oh man, I was immediately excited for it. I ran back to Cor and asked the villagers around about the Mana Shield. Turns out I could learn it from Kousai after receiving blessings from the other villagers.

So, I did everyone a few favors. I got a new otter friend for Ruwai, I killed some (more) Hobgoblins for Waboka, and helped Kusina fall into another helpless romantic type fantasy with me and Taeyfany.

…really? I tried explaining to her that she isn’t one I loved that way, but she was already gone. So we just let her be.

Afterwards, Kousai taught me the basics of Mana Shield. As I took the lessons to mind, I felt a small rush flow around me. It felt like I was able to grasp something and form it into something. I was so excited, I had a hard time trying to keep my focus on the Mana flow.

I immediately went inside Herba Jungle to give me some practical training with Mana Shield. I spotted a couple of lynxes in the distance, so I stepped back to prepare.

I closed my eyes and felt the rush around me. I sensed a mist of blue. I reached out and started to shape it into something. It slowly went from a blue mist into a basic barrier in front of me. I went and decided to egg on one of the the lynxes. When it leaped out at me, it was indeed stopped by the barrier I created with Mana! Nothing happened to me, except for a little bit of Mana dissipation, but that’s to be expected. I was so thrilled to see it work that I actually lost my concentration and accidentally let go of the shield I created, allowing the lynx to, well, claw my face in. It hurt.

But still, Mana Shield… mmm. I can totally make use of this when I finally decide to take up a sword!

I just saw another Elf run by with this weird looking clothing. It was like, half robe and half armor.

I actually like it.
